Adisil is an ancient Tamil classical word that is unused at present. Adisil means "Cooked Rice" or "Cooked Food". I am not a food blogger but a foodie interested in preparing food and serving people. I was forced to start this blog to share the recipes for 'Release Biryani' & 'Goat liver fry'. Many of my friends love those. Big thanks to my wife (Ph.D scholar in Tamil Literature), who gave this blog the unique title 'Adisil' (picked from a poem from Sangam days).
